Business Services Division
The Business Services Division is responsible for overseeing the $22 million budget that funds the entire operation of the Flagler County Sheriff's Office and the Inmate facility.
Linda Bolante, Division Director, serves in the dual capacity of chief financial officer and grants writer. In fiscal year, 2014 grants totaling approximately $1.6 million dollars were awarded to the Sheriff's Office.
The most significant award provided to the Sheriff's Office was the "COPS Hiring Grant". The grant is a Community Oriented Policing grant that enabled the Sheriff's Office to fully fund the hiring of six new full time deputies for a three-year period. The total award for this project was $1,198,260.
